It's that time again! More Fandom Of The Month Unboxings, horray!
This month's theme is Percy Jackson & The Olympians. I've never read this series but I've had it on my list because I've always been intrigued by Greek mythology (except for the semester in college when I took a class on it and the professor sucked the life out of me). That's one thing that I love about this box is that it introduces me to and/or reminds me about different fandoms. I don't know that every month is going to be a hit for everyone, but I wouldn't say that I've received anything that I just flat out won't ever wear because it isn't my fandom.
I loved taking these pictures on my furry rug because I just imagine Mount Olympus being super cloudy and fluffy and everyone just hanging out on clouds.
I love how people discount YA novels but they tend to always have the most beautiful quotes.
We got a couple extras in this month's box, which is super exciting! One is pictured and the other one I'll get to soon! The extra shown here is a magnet, I'm assuming this is Percy Jackson himself. Then, of course, we have the jewelry. Let's take a closer look!
I love this Trident ring! All I can ever think when I see a Trident (which is super often in my every day life..) I always think of Anchorman. Let me know that I'm not alone in this!
I have a soft spot for Pegasuses ever since the Disney Hercules movie. I have a baby Pegasus stuffed animal from forever ago on my bookcase in my living room. I don't know what Camp Half Blood is but I'll definitely rock these!
More Pegasus love! I really like this a lot. It's whimsical but practical all at the same time.
I was playing around with this ring since I'm not used to wearing rings that aren't completely closed (this one has a gap between the points on the Trident and the end), but I really like it! I kind of started to mold it into a midi ring since I think that would be super cute and I, like most, have been really into midi rings lately.
This is the other extra that I got in here and these are called Shwings and they go on your sneakers to make you look like Hermes! I actually got another pair of these in a Loot Crate when I was getting that. I don't really wear sneakers much so I gave my pair to him and I'll give these ones to him also.
