Hey friends! Apologies for being a little absent. I always say around this time of year it's a little difficult to keep the blog going since everything at work is so intense I just want to come home, lay on the couch and turn off my brain!
BUT I am here today because I was tagged by the lovely Steph over at Hello, Steph to do The Geeky Gril Tag! Since I am quite the geeky girl, I thought this would be fun to do! So let's get started.
#1: What is your must-have tech gadget?
I would have to go with both my iPhone and my Nikon camera. I have been absolutely in love with my DSLR and how much my photos have improved since I got it. While I don't take it everywhere, it is definitely a must for me. My phone, on the other hand, is always with me. Instagram is my love so I'm pretty much always on there, and my Tsum Tsum game addiction is so real right now that I play it all day!
#2: Which House do you belong to in Hogwarts?
I am Slytherin and proud! Although I definitely feel that I have some Hufflepuff tendencies, which probably seems super contradictive but I swear it's true.
#3: Who is your favorite Doctor?
Okay, don't kill me, but I'm not a Doctor Who fan. I tried. I really did. I watched many episodes, and maybe I need to try a different Doctor, but I just couldn't get into it. To be fair, I'm generally not big on time travel-centric stuff. The only reason why I watched Legends of Tomorrow was for Captain Cold.... and well, that didn't last long. Stupid Prison Break.
#4: If you could have dinner with any fictional character, who would it be?
Again, I'm going to be a little contradictory, and this would probably end up being two different dinners because I don't think I could get them to sit at the same table, but one dinner would be with Remus Lupin, and the other with Lucius Malfoy. Remus I would just hug. Forever and ever. Which would probably be weird for him, but it would be fine for me. He is my favorite character in Harry Potter and I just want to sit there and gush to him about him. Lucius, on the other hand, we would just sit and throw shade at everyone. I think it would be a good time!
#5: What is your gaming system of choice?
I'm honestly not terribly picky. I have a Nintendo Wii, which I definitely enjoy. We also have a PS4 that I have a few games on and that is fine. I just got a Sega console with pre-loaded games and a slot for cartridges for my birthday and I have a sneaky feeling that will probably end up being my favorite. I have all my old Sega games from when I was younger and I'm itching to try playing them! I also have a soft spot for N64.
#6: If you had a super power, what would it be?
I always go back and forth with this one. I would love to be invisible. I think that's an introverts dream, right? I could just go out and no one would bother me if I didn't want them to. It would be lovely. On the other hand, I would equally love to have the ability to teleport to anywhere. I am pretty much perpetually late so that would probably help me. I also could save on airfare and just pop up at Disney World whenever I wanted. I'd totally have an annual pass to all of the parks if I could teleport!
#7: What is your favorite fantasy world?
Again, torn. I'm the worst. I love the Harry Potter world. So much. I would definitely love to be a part of that world. Just the small glimpse into it I got when we went to Universal Studios was amazing so I would love to live there every day! On the other hand, all of the Disney worlds are just so magical. There's so much singing and everyone has a special pet that understands them. I would probably also be a princess, because obviously. So either of those worlds!
#8: If you could be any fictional race, what would you be?
This is weird, but I feel like I would love to be one of the Centaurettes from Fantasia. I think they're so beautiful and whimsical. I don't know what kind of life they lead, but I don't think I would mind being one of them.
#9: Star Trek or Star Wars?
Star Wars, for sure. I can only take Star Trek in small doses. I get sick of it after a couple episodes, but Star Wars I could watch over and over and over again. And I do!
#10: List your top 5 geektastic movies or TV shows.
