Wet N Wild Swatches | Liquid Catsuit & ColorIcon Ombre Blush

So, I'm not even going to lie.  Both of these products looped me in on a purely superficial level.  The Liquid Catsuit name with the little Catwoman silhouette on the tube is really cute.  I just really liked the name.  Do I necessarily need more liquid lipsticks in my collection?  No.  Especially considering I generally stick to my nude lipsticks, which is why I really branched out and went with a coral color when I picked some of these up.  I had two nude colors in my hands and I was really good and put one back, even though it pained me.

As for the blush, the ombre is so pretty.  Granted it is a little less ombre after doing some swatching, as I just had to see what everything looked like all swirled together, but it's still super gorgeous.

I also was interested because I've been enjoying watching Wet N Wild stepping up their game over the past couple years.  Their 8-pan ColorIcon eyeshadow palettes have been steady favorites of mine and other bloggers and YouTubers, and for good reason.  It just seems to be a little sporadic but they definitely have been putting a lot of effort into placing themselves into a higher class of drugstore makeup.

So, left to right, we have 922B Coral Corruption and 923B Pink Really Hard Liquid Catsuit Matte Liquid Lipsticks; and if you look closely, you will see a swatch of the ColorIcon Ombre Blush in 316B The Princess Daiquiries.  It's a little hard to see, as most light pink things are on my pale skin, but I promise you that it is really beautiful and glowy.  It seems like it is a perfect pop of color and luminosity for that glowing winter skin we all long for.

There are 13 total shades of the Liquid Catsuit Matte Liquid Lipsticks, ranging from nudes to pinks to dark burgundy.

There are only 3 ombre blushes available:  Mai Tai Buy You A Drink, which is a golden/coral duo; In A Purple Haze, which is a pink/lilac combination; and then as you saw above, The Princess Daiquiries, which is a champagne/pink blush.  All of them look crazy pretty, and as much as I would love to have them all, I feel that Mai Tai Buy You A Drink might be a little dark for my skin, at least for now.

These are all new to my collection as I was just able to finally lay my hands on them over the weekend, so I haven't been able to give them a proper try yet.  I will say that when I swatched the Liquid Catsuits on my arm, even with some vigorous scrubbing with a makeup wipe they were tough to get off.  Even now my arm is still a little stained, which is a good thing when we're talking about lip products, right?  It means that we'll have a little bit longer staying power, which is exactly what we're looking for in a liquid lipstick.

I'm going to be wearing them over the next couple days, and you can be sure that if I love them, they'll show up in my monthly favorites post.

Have you picked up anything from the new Wet N Wild collections?  Are you going to pick up any of these products?  Let me know in the comments below!
